Princetta Rudd Newman has spent decades collecting and preserving the history of Greenwood and North Tulsa.

Some of what she knows was passed down through family and Greenwood elders. Some comes from her own life in the community. And some lives in photographs, funeral programs, records, and other materials she has gathered over the years.

Her collection includes images of families, business owners, churches, schools, social life, and everyday people whose stories may never have made it into a history book.
